Likely not a surprise to anyone: Young Thug's enigmatic persona extends (allegedly) to blowing off a contest and failing to record a verse for the would-be winner. As TMZ is reporting, online hip-hop merchandiser WeThePlugg.com is suing Thugger for failing to hold up his end of a contest they ran in which an aspiring rapper would be blessed with a Young Thug feature. Filing the suit in Georgia, the site is suing for $14,500, which includes a $5,000 down payment given to Thug as well as additional damages incurred.

The rules of the contest are included below, with WeThePlugg asking for a $100 fee to enter the contest. A representative told TMZ that in addition to the $5,000 down payment, Thug would receive another $10,000 for recording a collaboration with the contest winner. Speaking with his manager though, the site learned that Thug was no longer game. Anybody familiar with Thug's public behavior, his disinterest in interviews, his propensity to curve the media and similar interactions entirely, knows that such a gesture is consistent with his convention-defying image. This time though, it may cost him.

Thug has made it well-known that he marches to his own beat and can decide or undecide to do anything at any given time. In April, when he appeared alongside Lyor Cohen on CNBC's Follow the Leader, the camera's caught Cohen saying to Thug, "I understand that you’re shy and you don’t like doing it, but the fact of the matter is your fans actually want to hear it from you.”
