TMZ reports that one of Nelly’s bus passengers, Brian Keith Jones, admitted the drugs and the gun were his and was subsequently placed under arrest. Nelly and the remaining five passengers were then let go.
After the St. Louis rapper’s bus was stopped at a border patrol checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, a drug-sniffing police dog detected drugs on board, according to TMZ. The celebrity news website says a conducted police search revealed 36 small baggies of heroin (.64 ounces) and over 10 pounds of marijuana stuffed in a large green duffel bag. In addition, a loaded .45 caliber pistol was seized.
The Sierra Blanca, Texas checkpoint is the same checkpoint in which Snoop Dogg was once arrested for drugs.
