To say this past weekend in Atlanta was eventful, would be a gross understatement. A gaggle of hip-hop dignitaries converged on ATL for the BET Hip-Hop Awards, as well as the surrounding parties and events. DJ Khaled took advantage of the opportunity to match schedules with his homies.

The mogul threw up the Bat Signal and his friends came. Sunday afternoon (September 30) in Atlanta's 9th Ward, Khaled hosted Ace Hood, Meek Mill, Jadakiss, Busta Rhymes and Reek Da Villian for his new clip "I Did It For My Dawgz."

""I Did It For  My Dawgz" was an amazing video to shoot the video in the west side, 9th ward in ATL," Khaled told XXL. "It felt like when I did 'I'm So Hood'! We had a great time in the hood.  SpiffTV was directing and he captured all real elements representing the hood and the song. He did a phenomenal job."

The videos centers on high-energy performances, right in the neighborhood streets and apartment buildings. "I Did It For My Dawgz" follows Kiss The Rings' previous clips for "Take It To The Head" and "I Wish You Would."

"I plan to shoot a video for every song from my classic album Kiss the Ring," Khaled detailed. "'I Did It For My Dawgz' is monumental because Ross, Ace, Meek, Jada and French on one song is amazing. They're talking that talk. Yo Gotti came through yesterday.  Busta and Reek came through.  Most importantly, the west side 9th ward ATL came and repped and showed me love. Big up PARLAE for showing me love in his hood!"
