Pill Addresses Frustration With Label Via Twitter

After dodging rumors that he was dropped from Rick Ross’s Maybach Music Group, Pill took to his Twitter last night to vent about what he feels is a lack of support from his parent label, Warner Bros. Records.

“No TV and No Radio…U do the math,” said Pill, opening up a barrage of tweets to explain his frustration to the fans. “I bet u can name your favorite artist and the turn on the TV and see the video and hear it on the radio. It’s not rocket science. Radio and TV b4 I had a deal, none after and u ask why Pill ain’t blew all the way up. Artist sign deals, label doesn’t do shit for them or don’t even know to work the artist. Time wasted..”

And the Atlanta rapper, who gained buzz with the single “Trap Goin’ Ham,” was just getting warmed up.

“Ask Wiz Khalifa what Warner Bros did for him,” Pill continued. “I’ll wait…dropped ’em. Atlantic signed ’em put ’em on TV and radio and he sky rocketed. Mind you, when I signed I had one of the biggest records in ’09, “Trap Goin’ Ham,” never touched TV, never touched radio. Now go back and do your research and see what unsigned artist was neck n neck with Drake’s So Far Gone in ′09: Pill 4180: The Prescription.

“If I remember that list correctly, it was Nicki Minaj, Drake, Pill, Wayne, Jeezy,” he added. “Now what the hell was a new comer like me doing on that list? Because IM DOPE!! That’s why. U ain’t gotta believe it, but I know it and won’t ever stop until I get that spot I deserve. Peace.”—Jakinder Singh

Labels are ment to sign new talent and then help them get to that next level pill put out like 3 street mixtapes had a good buzz then signed with warner bros then they didnt know what to do with him so they gave him to mmg and his buzz died and he been wack ever since

FUNNY THING IS STALLEY DONE THE EXACT SAME THING ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO SAYING THE LABEL AINT HELPING HIM AND HIS ON HIS OWN

I knew this guy was a hood demon with a lack of common sense. Does he think this kind of stunt will help his situation??

First of all I hate some reporters. He NEVER said MMG!!! EVER!!! Although not a Pill fan, I hate when larger sources sway some readers who dont have the knowledge to check for themselves, and feed them with false information. He pointed every finger @ WARNER BROS, not the smaller entity, that being MMG.

Truthfully, Warner Bros doesnt do much for people though, marketing and promotions wise.

I knew this guy would be the weakest link as soon as i heard that weak song on self made. Drop it on the floor or however the shit went. Wale has his on following and Ross is damn sure making sure Meek Mill has one also he could care less about Pill.
