Infamous Records, the home to rap duo Mobb Deep, has quite the rollout for the New Year.

Prodigy and Havoc will look to heat up the first half of 2012 with their ninth album, but that’s just the beginning. Fans can also expect a solo LP from Prodigy and a collaboration album with their famed producer Alchemist. Although details for each project are murky, it’s safe to expect hard-hitting rhymes and solid production. Alchemist’s past collaborations have includes the likes of KRS-One, Eminem and Pusha T.

In addition to the jam-packed first half of 2012, Prodigy also hopes to finish writing his second book early in the year.

Today’s rollout announcement comes on the heels of Mobb Deep finalizing a distribution deal with Red Distribution, a division of Sony Music.
