Jay-Z has been ordered to pay an $18,000 fine by a New York court.

This comes after Hov was sued by the The Workers’ Compensation Board of New York for allegedly failing to pay his staff’s workers’ compensation insurance for three months in 2009, all according to TMZ.

Also according to the TMZ is that the insurance was to cover household staff such as maids, cooks and drivers, but a source close to the multiplatinum rapper claims that he never missed a payment and that the lawsuit was originated by an administrative error that was being clarified.
