50 Cent may have to dust off his Pimpin' Curly outfit as it was recently announced that the G-Unit general  will be playing a 1980s-era pimp in a new thriller set to start filming next month with John Cusack, Nicholas Cage and Vanessa Hudgens.

According to the Anchorage Daily News, the movie, named The Frozen Ground, is based on the true-life story of Robert “Butcher Baker” Hansen, an Alaska pimp turned serial killer that took the lives of over 20 prostitutes throughout the 1970s and 1980s. Cusack will portray Hansen, while Cage will take on the role of an Alaska State Trooper that pursues him. Hudgens was casted as one of Hansen’s escaped victims.

The flick will be directed by newcomer Scott Walker and will be produced by Fif and Emmet/Furla films. According to imdb.com, the movie will be released in December 2012. —Elan Mancini
