Weezy Producer Hits YMCMB W/ $20 Mil Suit

It’s been almost three years since its release and Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter III continues to make headlines.  This past week Darius “Deezle” Harrison announced that he is suing Young Money Entertainment and Cash Money Records claiming that he’s owed more than $20 million for his work on the multi-platinum selling disc.

The producer, who worked on such tracks as CIII’s  “Lollipop, “Whip It”, “Prostitue 2”, and “Action”, as well as “Mrs. Officer” and “Let the Beat Build,” claims he has yet to paid.

A rep for YMCMB has yet to comment on the suit.

This is just the latest accusation against the label. Last year producer Jim Jonson sued Weezy and YMCMB for over $500,000 for failing to pay him royalties on his work on “Lollipop.” Play-N-Skillz also  In 2009 Play-n-Skillz publicly claimed that they had yet to receive any money for their work on “Got Money,” another single from Wayne’s multi-platinum selling LP, Tha Carter III. —Ralph Bristout

I think it’ Baby screwing up bc he’s always so concerned with “Blinging” no wonder Diddy and Jay-Z whipped his azz in in Forbes by more than $300 mill. Baby is simply not a “business,” man. i hope Nicki Minaj and Drake get what they’re owed from their sales too. Another thing, I don’t understand how Nicki can claim she about empowering women but decided to sign with one of the most misogynistic rappers in the game, Lil Wayne, where is most common adjectives for women are “b-tches” and “hoes.” I mean, it seems like she sold her own self-dignity for money. I Chris Rock says, she’ll probably say “Well, he ain’t talkin’ about me!”
