Southern hip-hop fans can rejoice: Atlanta rap stars Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame are set to release a joint album this spring.

Gooch told billboard.com that he and Waka will release The Ferrari Boys on 1017 Brick Squad Records, home to both rappers, “in the next few months.”

"This album is gonna be the hardest album of the year," he said. "The songs are so clever, the beats are so slammin', and the lyrics are just so aggressive. There's so much energy that we bring to the studio. Nobody's gonna be able to top this album that me and Waka are coming out with."

The album is set to feature up to 20 tracks with equal contributions from both MCs. Production comes courtesy of Schife, FATBOI, Shawty Redd and longtime Gucci collaborator Drumma Boy, who also produced Waka’s massive club smash “No Hands.”

But first up, Gooch will return to his roots with the release of his 13-track street album The Return of Mr. Zone 6 next Tuesday, March 22.

“It’s just like the old Gucci,” he told XXLMag.com about The Return of Mr. Zone 6 earlier this month. “It’s really hardcore. It’s an emphasis on the streets. It’s me going back to my core friends and just giving them a lot of what I didn’t give them on my album—fifteen straight, just gangsta songs. No singing on the songs, just all just straight rap.”

Gucci enlisted Drumma Boy to produce the majority of the album, which features guest spots from Waka as well as OJ Da Juiceman, Birdman, Wale, Master P, Webbie, 8ball, Rocko and Wooh the Kid.
