Just Blaze & DJ Premier Bid Farewell to Fat Beats in Final Week

Although they’ll be closing their New York City doors this week, Fat Beats, fittingly, won’t go without making some noise.

As previously reported, both the New York and Los Angeles locations will be shutting down for good in September. The legendary NYC 6th Avenue store is currently in its final week, preparing to close this Saturday (September 4). However, Fat Beats is preparing a fitting send-off, highlighted by in-store performances and appearances.

The schedule in New York is as follows:
Tuesday, August 31st: Ras Kass, Sav KIllz, DJ Ready Cee, panel discussion, and more
Wednesday, September 1st: Bobbito, Mayhem, Riz, Juggaknots, Sputnik Brown, and more
Thursday, September 2nd: Rob Swift, Torae, DJ Concept, DJ Amir, and more
Friday, September 3rd: Masta Ace, J-Live, Pacewon, Tanya Morgan, and more
*FINAL DAY* Saturday, September 4th: Just Blaze, A-Trak, Pete Rock, DJ Premier, and more
