Duck Down Announces Winners of NBA 2K11 Soundtrack Contest

The votes are in. Up-and-coming production duo Bay Root Productions from San Antonio, TX and Aurora, IL MC Young Automatik are the winners of Duck Down Records and 2K Sports’ of the NBA 2K11 Soundtrack contest.

More than several hundred thousand people voted in the competition, with 47 percent of the clicks selecting Bayroot’s instrumental titled “Axiom.” Young Automatic than spit over the beat, calling the song “Go Hard or Go Home.” As part of the prized package, the track will now appear on the soundtrack to the upcoming NBA 2K11 and may even appear on the videogame TV ads.

In addition, the winners will receive an all-expense-paid trip to New York City, where they will have the special opportunity to perform the song live at Duck Down's CMJ Showcase in October 2010.
