Jim Jones’s The Ghost of Rich Porter Mixtape Available Now

The Ghost of Rich Porter is here. Yesterday (March 22) we told you that XXLMag,com would be premiering Jim Jones’s new mixtape, and now it is available for free download. [Download Mixtape Here]

As previously reported, the Capo’s latest project features appearances by Gucci Mane, Juelz Santana, Shawty Lo, Maino and Joell Ortiz, among others. It also includes all new, original beats (except for “Harlem Forever,” which finds Jim and Santana rhyming on Drake’s smash single “Forever”), including one song with famed beatsmith The Alchemist [listen here]. “Anytime I do a mixtape I try to put a different theme to it and I try to give them original beats so it could be [more] powerful,” he told XXL.

The Ghost of Rich Porter is just an appetizer for Jones’s new studio album on E1 Music, which he says is currently slated for a July/August release. —William Nilly
