Cashville's King, Young Buck is set to host and sponsor the first annual Tennessee Music Conference and Hip-Hop Awards in his home town this weekend.

The Nashville native announced he's partnered with Robert "Robski" Grady to put on the event, which will be co-hosted DJ Freddy Hydro.

The festivities kick off September 6 with a luncheon, followed by a showcase and several music-industry panels. Ozone magazine creator Julia Beverly, along with Mr. Serv On and DJ Infamous, will be among the many participating in activities over the weekend.

The Game, who recently invited Buck to join him on stage at the Californian's New York album release party, is scheduled to perform at Wildhorse Saloon. The West Coast lyricist is set to be joined on stage by Buck and Scarface.

Sunday the award show takes place. Allen Iverson and Gorilla Zoe are among the invited guests.

8Ball & MJG and Three 6 Mafia, and DJs C-Wiz and Sqeeky, will be honored and receive the Special Pioneer Legend Awards.---Anthony Thomas
