Lil Wayne paid a visit to his former high school, the Eleanor McMain Magnet Secondary School, on Tuesday (February 19) to thank students for their help with an art project. According to the New Orleans Times-Picayune, Weezy spent about 45 minutes talking with a group of 40 students at the school on South Claiborne Avenue in New Orleans. The visit was the rapper’s way of thanking the kids for designing a logo for his charitable organization, the One Family Foundation. The self-proclaimed best rapper alive answered questions from the students, but had to turn down an invitation to the prom because of a scheduling conflict.
