Wu-Tang Allows Fans to Help Plan Tour

If you'd like to see the Wu-Tang Clan perform in your city, now is your chance. The Staten Island collective are teaming up with the event planning website eventful.com for the Wu-Tang 8 Diagrams Tour competition. The site provides a service called Eventful Demand that allows fans in a given city to create a campaign urging a particular artist or performer to schedule a local show. By visiting the site and making a ‘Demand,’ individuals can personally influence an artist’s tour. Wu has promised to visit any city that logs over 1,500 ‘Demands’ through the site. “The Wu is back together, live and direct. All our fans have shown us mad love over the years, and we want to rock the cities that demand us the most. Much thanks to Eventful for letting us reconnect with our fans,” the crew said in a statement. The competition kicked off on Wednesday, December 19 and will run through Friday, February 1.
