50-cent.jpgLast night (August 9), a digital copy of a new 50 Cent song called “Follow My Lead,” which features R&B sensation Robin Thicke, leaked onto the Internet weeks before the scheduled release date of the rapper’s new album, Curtis. Soon after, what appears to be a final cut version of the song’s video also made its way onto the web, and was soon available on video sharing sites such as YouTube and Dailymotion. According to a report from Hot 97 radio personality Miss Info, the G-Unit head completely lost it when he heard about the leak. Quoting a source close to the situation, Info detailed how 50 exploded in his Manhattan office, ripping a plasma television off the wall, throwing his cell phone through a window and declaring that he was going on vacation. 50 had just released the video for his collaboration with Justin Timberlake, “Ayo Technology,” and “Follow My Lead” was not expected to be distributed to media outlets for some time.
