Diddy Signs on for Princess Diana Tribute
Sean “Diddy” Combs has signed on to take part in what is shaping up to be the concert of the year. According to Reuters, the Bad Boy chief will take the stage on July 1 for a tribute concert in honor of the late Princess Diana. Puff joins a growing list of world class entertainers that currently includes Kanye West, Joss Stone and Elton John. The show, which is being organized by Diana’s children, Princes Harry and William will serve to commemorate what would have been the princesses 46th birthday as well as the 10th anniversary of her death. Proceeds from ticket sales will benefit charities that the princess supported. Diana was killed in Paris on August 31, 1997 when the car she was riding in with friend Dodi Al-Fayed crashed in the Pont d’Alma.
