Romeo Signs with USC Basketball, Stars In New Film

Master P’s son, Lil’ Romeo, has signed with the USC Trojans basketball team as a member of their 2008 class. Romeo Miller is a 6’1” All-American point guard for Beverly Hills High School and is the first hip-hop artist to receive a full basketball scholarship to a division one program such as USC. In addition, Romeo is also starring in a new basketball film, Sweetwater. Romeo plays as a young Nat “Sweetwater” Clifton who was the first African-American basketball player to play for an NBA team. The film also stars Richard Dreyfuss and Henry Simmons and will begin shooting in San Francisco and New York later this summer.
