New Documentary Pays Tribute To Proof

On the one-year anniversary of Proof’s passing, DJ Jewels Baby of Priceless Music is releasing a film in honor of the D12 star. According to the Detroit News, the 74-minute documentary — Time A Tell — chronicles Proof’s goal of recording an entire album in 24 hours. The footage was shot two and a half months before his death at the CCC club in Detroit last April. The documentary premiers at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History on April 12 at 8 PM. Proof’s mother, Sherallene Holton, will be one of the many guests attending the event.
