bg1.jpgB.G. & The Chopper City Boyz, Yung Joc and DJ Unk will star in BET's Stand and Deliver Block Party, a documentary that looks to rebuild historically black colleges and universities in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Earlier this year, each of the aforementioned artists performed at New Orleans' Holwin' Wolf nightclub to raise money for three colleges - Dillard, Xavier and Southern University. The money went towards repairing a building at each of the three universities. The BET cameras filmed the concert and will air the footage exclusively on Cox digital cable from April 1 to April 30. In addition to the concert footage, the documentary also features interviews with students and faculty members who discuss how their life has changed since Hurricane Katrina. "I am proud of BET's long-term commitment to the rebuilding of the Gulf region," says Debra Lee, BET Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "Stand and Deliver is an example of BET's strong connection with students at historically black colleges and universities and our dedication to their legacy of excellence in education."
