Rapper Naledge to Have Solo LP Translated into Multiple Languages
Pioneering independent record label Rawkus Records is partnering with Voice technology company Voxonic to translate the new solo album from rapper Naledge, Naledge is Power, into several different foreign languages. Voxonic has developed new patent-pending software that allows a recording to be translated into as many as 1400 different languages while still retaining the unique voice of the original speaker. Naledge and producer Double O, who together make up the group Kidz in the Hall, released their critically acclaimed LP School Was My Hustle in 2006. Naledge is Power will reportedly include production from Just Blaze, 9th Wonder and Pete Rock and is due out in Spring 2007.
