diddy1.jpgSean “Diddy” Combs has enlisted the services of Chris Lighty's Violator Management to oversee his music career and line up new marketing ventures, according to the New York Daily News. Lighty, who also manages the careers of 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes and Missy Elliot, has already begun working on a new marketing strategy for Diddy's latest LP, Press Play. The Violator head is credited with the rampant success of 50 Cent outside the arena of music, landing him deals with Glaceau Vitamin Water, Reebok, and Ecko Unltd. for his G-Unit clothing line. Earlier this year, 50 Cent attacked Diddy on a mixtape track shortly before the release of Press Play over Combs’ unwillingness to release Harlem rapper Ma$e from his Bad Boy recording contract. The two have since resolved the dispute.
