Young City from Making The Band 2 Arrested for Armed Robbery

Young City, also known as Choppa from MTV’s Making The Band 2, has been arrested and detained on an outstanding warrant for armed robbery. Choppa, whose real name is Kevin Barnes, was stopped for speeding in a Gwinnett County suburb of Atlanta last month (July 31) and was arrested when police discovered the unresolved warrant stemming from an alleged incident in Baltimore. The former Bad Boy South artist reportedly lived in Baltimore as a teen to escape the violent streets of his hometown of New Orleans. Considered a flight risk by authorities, Barnes is currently being held in a Gwinnett County Jail without bond, while he awaits extradition to Maryland. The rapper fled New Orleans for Atlanta in the wake of Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
