Two People Shot at Jermaine Dupri Party in Atlanta

jd.jpgAccording to the Associated Press, three people were injured when shots rang out at a party hosted by producer and record executive Jermaine Dupri early this morning (July 31). The party, held at the Gerogia Peach Ballroom, was the final event in a series of So So Def–sponsored bashes this weekend. Dekalb County Police say that a man tried to rob another man’s necklace shortly before the gunshots began. Two women hit by bullets were rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital; another woman cut her arm while trying to flee the melee and reportedly went to Northside Hospital for treatment. No suspects have been arrested and the incident remains under investigation.
