dmx.jpgBarely a month after being detained in London for an apparent fit of air rage, Westchester native DMX was recently pulled over by police in White Plains, NY and cited for several infractions. The Associated Press reports that officers stopped X’s 2001 Chevy Suburban after they noticed him traveling at “unreasonable speeds” and making illegal lane changes. Upon inspecting the vehicle, police discovered the rapper was not wearing a seat belt and was not in possession of a valid driver’s license. This incident is just the latest in a long string of traffic-related violations that the MC has racked up over the years. In 2004 he was charged with impersonating a Federal officer after he crashed the SUV he was driving through a gate at Kennedy airport and threatened another motorist. He received a conditional discharge in that case, but was later sentenced to 70 days in jail after being clocked going over 100 mph in a 65 mph zone. The rapper has been ordered to appear in court on June 16th to answer to these latest charges.
