Nightclub Where Proof Died Closes Its Doors
Under a new deal with local authorities, the club where D12 member Proof was shot and killed will close its doors for a year, according to the Associated Press. The C.C.C. club was hit with a nuisance violation and will also be subject to fines for operating after hours, which will be determined today (May 11) at a Wayne County court hearing. According to reports, Proof was shot in the head and killed by Mario Etheridge on April 11 after Proof had shot Etheridge’s cousin, Keith Bender. Bender was taken from the club and remained in critical condition for a week before eventually dying from the injuries.
