DMX Arrested in London for Outburst on Flight

Yonkers rapper DMX was arrested on Saturday (May 13) after he refused to put on his seatbelt and became abusive towards an American Airlines crew,  according to the Associated Press. On a flight from New York to London’s Heathrow Airport, the 35-year-old rapper, whose real name is Earl Simmons, refused to buckle his seatbelt in preparation for landing. After the plane landed at 12:15 p.m., the rapper allegedly continued to verbally berate the crew and was arrested for “suspicion of being verbally abusive.” London Police held the rapper briefly but released him after issuing a “caution,” which means he accepted responsibility for the offense and a record will be made.
