Diddy Loses Child Support Appeal, Ordered to Pay Reduced Amount
The New York State Supreme Court ruled yesterday (May 9) that Sean “Diddy” Combs has no grounds to appeal a 2005 court decision ordering him to pay his child support payments to his ex-girlfriend Misa Hylton-Brim. Diddy was originally ordered to pay Hylton-Brim $35,000 a month for the care of their 12-year-old son Justin, a fee which Diddy argued was too high. The Supreme Court judge denied his appeal, but reduced the monthly fee to $19,000. “We’re pleased the original order was reduced but we thought there were issues applicable for the Court of Appeals to entertain,” Diddy’s attorney, Stephen Gassman, told the Associated Press.
