sugemug.jpgOn Saturday (April 1), Suge Knight skipped a court hearing about his assets, which set the stage for the government to take control of his personal finances, as well as Death Row Records. This is not the first court appearance Knight has skipped since losing a suit in 2005 against Lydia Harris, who claimed she helped start Death Row with Michael Harris, her former husband who is serving time for a drug conviction. The catalogues of 2pac, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre could all be auctioned off after the court takes control. A hearing has been set for this Tuesday to finalize the receivership of the assets and record company, and to determine if Knight can be held in contempt of court for his refusal to disclose his assets.
