Snoop Dogg Planning Debut Novel
According to The Book Standard, Long Beach rapper Snoop Dogg will be releasing his first novel, titled Love Don’t Live Here No More, in October through Atria Books, a division of Simon & Schuster. The novel is expected to follow the story of a young man in Southern California struggling to make it in hip-hop. The book will be the first in a series of “street” literature releases, which will be headed up by the MC. “Snoop, by the nature of what he does, is a storyteller,” a spokesperson for Atria told The Book Standard. “Books speak more to a female audience than does his music, so these novels give him an opportunity to show, particularly his female fans, another side.”
