snoop.jpgAccording to The Book Standard, Long Beach rapper Snoop Dogg will be releasing his first novel, titled Love Don’t Live Here No More, in October through Atria Books, a division of Simon & Schuster. The novel is expected to follow the story of a young man in Southern California struggling to make it in hip-hop. The book will be the first in a series of “street” literature releases, which will be headed up by the MC. “Snoop, by the nature of what he does, is a storyteller,” a spokesperson for Atria told The Book Standard. “Books speak more to a female audience than does his music, so these novels give him an opportunity to show, particularly his female fans, another side.”
