On May 25, California DJ/Producer DJ Shadow is expected to unite with Jurassic 5, Dilated Peoples, Supernatural, the Beat Junkies, Madlib, Money Mark and MF Doom to stage a benefit show for art director Keith Tamashiro. The event will take place in Los Angeles at the Mayan Theatre, with benefits going towards Tamashiro’s recovery from a brain aneurysm. Tamashiro has designed album covers for Shadow, Jurassic 5, Herbie Hancock, Cut Chemist and others on the Stones Throw label. The benefit marks Shadow’s first live show in nearly four years.
