In laymen’s terms, just because he’s flashy and flash is what’s popular, that doesn’t make his music worth listening to. If the flashiest, most iced-out man with Down Syndrome ever put out a mixtape, would you cop it solely because of his “swagger”? There’s something seriously flawed with the criteria used to judge MCs these days. “Trap Music” might as well be called “Gilded Music”.
