Between dropping new songs and following them up with an EP, Wale has been busy the past few weeks but the DMV rapper isn't letting up yet. On Monday (March 19), Wale dropped the video for his song "Staying Power."

Directed by Chris Hernandez, the visuals find Wale cruising through the streets of Washington, D.C. with a beautiful woman at his side as he spits bar after bar. "I ain't about to tit for tat, but nigga check the map/Guess who put shit there? Me, Folarin," Wale raps in the video while pointing to a mural of himself.

Last week, Wale dropped his four-track EP, It's Complicated. With only a single feature from singer Jacquees, the project finds Wale dealing with different relationship issues like falling in love and why dating can be tough for him.

The EP came after Wale released the songs "Staying Power" and "All Star Break Up" in February. On the latter track, Wale raps about a woman who leaves her boyfriend to find herself an NBA player during the NBA All-Star Weekend.

It's uncertain what's next for Wale but the rapper has confirmed that he's gone independent. On "Staying Power," Wale spits, "Lately been feelin' like niggas doubt me/Trust me, they don't got no staying power/Left Atlantic, about a minute later/Every record label try and scout me."

The rapper's latest offerings have also been released through Maybach Music Group and his Every Blue Moon record label.
