Four days before the scheduled release of 6lack's sophomore album East Atlanta Love Letter, the "Prblms" singer is still polishing off the project. On Monday (Sept. 11) he posted on Twitter a snippet of a J. Cole feature on the song "Pretty Little Fears."

The vocals were apparently submitted last-minute. "Cole vocals came in 🔥," 6lack captioned the video, "4 more days #eastatlantaloveletter."

The clip shows the Atlanta crooner sitting in a car listening to the unreleased track with his eyes closed. Over hand drums and a synth pad, the song features a hook demanding honesty.

"I just wanna know/Not just sugarcoat/I'll say it all if you want/Now could you tell me like it is/Pretty little fears/You should tell my ears," 6lack sings in the clip.

The Interscope signee's vocals are followed in the snippet by the beginning of a Cole verse that builds on the theme.

"I'm lovin', you're late, vulnerable/Lettin' your guard down is honorable/Especially when the past ain't been that," Jermaine can be heard rapping.

6lack has shared two singles in advance of his album, set to drop on Friday (Sept. 14). "Switch," released in June, features backup vocals from Ty Dolla $ign and earned a video in July, while "Nonchalant" followed in August.

East Atlanta Love Letter will be 6lack's first full-length since his 2016 debut, Free 6lack. He launches a world tour of the project in South Africa on Oct. 5.
