Trippie Redd Drops ‘Mad Max’-Inspired Video for “Deadman’s Wonderland”
After sharing zombie-themed visuals for "Dark Knight Dummo," Trippie's latest video makes use of post-apocalyptic themes in the same vein as the movie Mad Max or the video game series Fallout. The Matt Keane-directed visuals begin with Trippie being carted on a stretcher before he awakes in a room surrounded by people in hazmat suits.
The video then cuts out before Trippie is transported to a desert wasteland where masked bandits have their eyes on him. Armed with an Uzi, Trippie eventually gets some help from singer Forever Anti Pop as the two and their crew battle the bandits. The cinematic video ends with the Canton, Ohio rapper walking away from the madness.
Up next for Trippie Redd, the rapper appears to be working on new music and recently hinted at his debut album arriving soon. On April 9, the Ohio artist uploaded a video on Instagram and wrote in the caption, "How you feel Trip ? comment 🔇 if you ready for the album."
The video also features a snippet of a song from the rapper, which includes some guitar and finds Trippie belting out vocals. While the artist didn't reveal any more information about the track or the upcoming album, the new project will be his first since October's Angels & Demons with Lil Wop.
