Drake Looks to Collect His Money From Quavo After Alabama Crimson Tide’s 2018 CFP National Championship Win
Drake might be a nice guy, but if history's taught us anything, it's that he's still a really competitive one.
That's a point he made once again when he demanded Quavo pay up the money he allegedly bet him on the outcome of the 2018 College Football National Championship playoff game between The University of Alabama Crimson Tide and The University of Georgia Bulldogs.
Being a Georgia native, it wasn't too surprising to see that Quavo supported UGA. Unfortunately for him, the Bulldogs took that 26-23 overtime L during the showdown in Atlanta's Centennial Olympic Park Monday night (Jan. 8). Drizzy, who bet on the Crimson Tide, wanted to make sure Quavo knew what time it was.
“Quavo, I need all my chips with the Huncho Jack dip, my boy,” Drizzy semi-shouted during a social media story just after the championship game concluded. In other parts of the clip, he can be heard calling Alabama coach Nick Saban the greatest ever.
In another clip, we can see Drizzy seemingly talking on the phone with the Migos rapper, even using his signature catchphrase, "That way," when it was time to tell him he needed to collect the dough. Ouch.
Drizzy's been having himself a good time in 2018, and based on the money he'll be able to collect from Tide's big win, it will only get better.
