We don't know if you've heard, but Eminem is officially back. On Saturday night (Nov. 18), the rap legend delivered his second major live performance in less than a week when he hit the stage to perform "Walk on Water" on this week's episode of Saturday Night Live, hosted by Chance The Rapper. Em brought Skylar Grey, who helped produce the new Revival single, along for the ride.

Taking the stage with the least amount of lighting possible, Slim Shady proceeded to pour his heart out over the somber piano keys of Grey. Throughout the song, Em spits about struggling to cope with his potentially diminished relevance and along with the mounting criticism of his approach to rapping.

As folks who've listened to the track know, though, he ends it with a reminder that his pen game at its peak is impeccable. In a surprise twist, he immediately launches into a performance of "Stan," the seminal 2001 song he references on "Walk on Water."

For the partial performance of "Stan," Grey handles Dido's original hook on the song, and Em spits over live instrumentation. Neither of them miss a beat. It was definitely a dope trip down memory lane. That trip continued with Eminem performing his Rihanna-assisted hit, "Love the Way You Lie."

There's no word on when Revival will hit the internet, but this performance will only make loyal Em fans want it even more.
