The 2017 MTV Video Music Awards are taking place in Los Angeles this evening (Aug. 27), and Logic is one of the many artists that is taking the stage for the star-studded awards show. The Everybody rapper recruits Alessia Cara and Khalid to accompany him for a performance of "1-800-273-8255," which promotes suicidal awareness.

Logic's performance for the song, which is named after the National Suicide Hotline, features him rhyming around a group of suicide survivors who battle with issues regarding their mental health. The beginning of the show sees the Maryland MC facing a mirror as he sings the powerful hook, before being joined by a full choir, Cara, as well as Khalid as they sing some emotional lyrics.

While the song is a big single off of his Everybody album, Logic's "1-800-273-8255" record has been extremely impactful on his fans as well as those that suffer from depression and anxiety. The hotline has come forward to reveal that they have received a huge influx of calls since the song's release earlier this year, and many have even mentioned the song as a trigger for them to use the hotline while speaking with volunteers at calling centers.
