Kendrick Lamar Performs “Humble” and More, Brings Out Travis Scott and Future at 2017 Coachella
This past weekend, all eyes were on the stage at Coachella 2017, where some of the rap game's biggest artists played in front of an audience of thousands. Kendrick Lamar headlined the closing show for the first weekend fresh off releasing his new album DAMN., and you can watch clips of his performance below.
At the beginning of his set, the To Pimp a Butterfly artist—dressed in Kung Fu Kenny attire—had a mock movie playing on a screen above the big stage before launching into "DNA," the intro off his new LP. Needless to say, the crowd was loving the performance.
During the course of his energetic set, K. Dot pulled out all the stops, performing tracks from his newest album and a few hits with guys like Travis Scott and Future. When Travis took the stage, he and K. Dot performed "Goosebumps" together. When Hendrix hopped up, K. Dot let the Atlanta MC perform "Mask Off." Even ScHoolboy Q came out to turn up a bit.
Of course, Kendrick also ran through a number of his own songs, including tracks from DAMN. (like "Humble" and "Love"), To Pimp a Butterfly and, of course, his debut album good kid, m.A.A.d city. He even performed an alternate version of "Untitled 02."
You can check out K. Dot's magic in full effect by peeping the numerous videos below. Below the videos, you can see a gallery of photos from Kendrick's electric performance.
