A$AP Twelvyy has left fans of gritty New York rap starving for a full project after years of dropping standout loosies and based on his current message, it only seems like a matter of time before the Bronx native finally gives the people what they want. Following years of grinding with his A$AP brethren, Twelvyy declares emphatically that this his last year being broke and uses the line as a motivating hook.

Hopping on the 6 train near his Castle Hill hometown, Twelvyy ventures downtown to the Lower East Side, takes over a Halal truck and becomes the lead singer of a Mariachi band. Playing the part of different walks of life, the rapper shows that he'll get this money by any means necessary. With cameos from A$AP Rocky, A$AP Illz, A$AP Lou, A$AP Ant, Tray Pizzy, Flatbush Zombies and more rising East Coast artists, Mel keeps it all in the family. Be sure to catch the homage to T.I.'s "24's" and the tribute to the late A$AP Yams.

While Twelvyy’s overall output has been low compared to the likes of Rocky and Ferg, he kicked off 2016 right by dropping a strong string of loosies and freestyles. Along with "Last Year Being Broke," a freestyle over the “1 Train” instrumental surfaced and on the first day of Feb., he dedicated the Harry Fraud-produced "Trips" to A$AP Ant.

Twelvyy will join the Flatbush Zombies and Remy Banks for the extensive “3001: A Laced Odyssey” tour. Dates for the run can be found on the Zombies’ website.
