Leaders of the Atlanta new school, Raury and Key! travel to the other side of town in the "Trap Tears" video. Walking down the streets of an impoverished neighborhood, Raury relays stories of the hardships faced by those in underprivileged and underserved hoods. The Atlanta wordsmith then finds himself leading a mob of people before performing and stage diving into the crowd as the camera fades to black.

"Trap Tears" is on Raury's All We Need album and clocks in at over five minutes. Curiously, the video version of the track is under three minutes and has eliminated a pretty cool beat flip and a solid verse from Raury. In any event, peep the video above.

Raury’s breakout year included a spot on the highly regarded 2015 XXL Freshmen list. Raury spoke to us about his album during the interview portion of the photo shoot and had lofty goals for the project. “The goal, all the time, is to create one of the most important and impactful albums I can,” he started. “I know I’m not the biggest artist or anything like that, but what makes you resonate with music, or anybody resonate with sound or any song that they’ve heard, is that it was missing from their life.

"Regardless of the fact that it sounds good, what really resonates with you is that you haven’t had this in a while. It’s what’s missing. So putting together this album I’m figuring out, not what do I need, but what do we need, what is missing from the whole spirit of hip-hop, what is missing from the whole spirit of the Atlanta music scene, what is missing in general. So that’s what I plan to deliver: exactly what we need.”
