For a duo that was initially dismissed as a novelty act, Rae Sremmurd has shown remarkable staying power. And not just as a fringe act that gets roped in for hooks and ad-libs: Today (Sept. 21), nearly nine months after their debut album, SremmLife, hit stores, the young MCs drop the video for the project's sixth single. "Come Get Her" is probably the duo's most delightfully unhinged clip to date. When a venue owner--who looks as if he probably voted for Stephen Douglas--has his entertainment for the night fall through, he calls his friend, "Bobby Ray," who has recommended the apparently unpronounceable Rae Sremmurd. While he agrees to pay the extra 15 percent for booking last-minute, he's up in arms when the kids start rapping raucously and the girls start "dancing like a stripper." By the time everyone figures out what's going on, the pair has grabbed their horses and are riding off into the sunrise. The group's producer, mentor and label head, Mike WiLL Made It, has said they're close to finishing a second LP.
