Tunji Ige shows off more of his creativity with the music video for the single "War" produced by Noah Breakfast. The Philly rapper brings his Missing Calls EP track to life with a visual inspired by surreal artists. The vivid imagery pairs up well with the melodious sounds that Tunji and Noah concocted

"You see me mobbin in the club/With no ID, I'm just a dud/I see you're showing niggas love/I'm feeling you just like the sun/Now do you really wanna follow/Up in the air I'm like Apollo/She yelling woah, she like to model/But she don't care about the bottles/So we can build or destroy/Come and fuck with the boy/You just want you some joy/So troops, I deploy," Tunji Ige raps on the opening verse.

The "War" music video is another instance of Tunji Ige breaking out from the comparisons to other artists to carve out his own lane in hip-hop. Last month, the rapper spoke to XXL about how he's making a distinct mark.

"Before I used to get offended when I was getting compared to others but now I feel like it’s so much of my own sound, that people are going to compare me to other people, it’s just because the production is on that level," Tunji Ige said. "And now I’m more inclined to make songs that aren’t regular raps. I want to make stuff that’ll stand the test of time. Like you can play it back and remember exactly where you were. And I think it’s really tight that it came out in spring because that’s what it sounds like. I was really trying to get the masters right but it came out at the perfect time."
