Troy Ave’s ‘BSB Vol. 5′ Will Be Released In July

Fresh off the release of BSB Vol. 4—one of the best mixtapes of 2014 so far—2014 XXL Freshman Troy Ave attended the Bacardi Flavor at the Rucker last night (July 10) and announced that BSB Vol. 5 will be dropping in July.

"BSB Vol. 5 dropping in July," said Troy Ave. "Followed by BSB Vol. 6, Young Lito project in September. Then they get Bricks In My Backpack 4/Major Without A Deal. That shit is going to be better than New York City: The Album. That’s going to be album of the year."

Troy wouldn't spill the beans on what features are going to be on BSB Vol. 5 but did say that fans should keep an eye on Young Lito, King Sevin and Avon Blocksdale because they are "flourishing" on the tape.

The Brooklyn native also made it clear that he is still a free agent and has not signed to T.I.'s Grand Hustle. "I’m not signed to Grand Hustle," said Troy. "We’re trying to get the money figured out.  T.I. is definitely very helpful and influential in everything I'm doing. But I'm still BSB Records, independently totally. We working it out."
