Name: Green Street
Age: 23
Reppin’: Brooklyn and Boston
Our style and/or skills have been compared to: A Tribe Called Quest and Little Brother
We started rapping: “Been doing this since 2005, this ain’t overnight…” (shouts to Big K.R.I.T.)
Our standout records and/or moments have been: Touring with Lupe Fiasco and Wiz Khalifa, as well as touring overseas in Japan.
We’re gonna change the game by: Bringing honest and sincere music to the mainstream.
We’d Like to Work With: Mos Def, Blu, Lupe Fiasco, Big K.R.I.T. Also Little Dragon, The Foreign Exchange and Janelle Monae.
Our goal in hip-hop is: Create a business model that will allow us, and other independent artists, to prosper while not having to compromise our art.
We’re gonna be the next: Artist to build a lasting brand which will positively influence the next generation.
