T-Pain recently celebrated the upcoming 10-year anniversary of his debut album Rappa Ternt Sanga with a performance at NPR's headquarters in Washington D.C. During his set, Pain debuted a new song off his upcoming LP, Stoicville: The Phoenix.. The song is called "Officially Yours" and finds the Florida artist getting his Micheal McDonald on, sans auto-tune. You read that right. TP is sanging his heart out on the mellow track without assistance, and he actually sounds good. Don't sleep on the vocals.

T Pain's new album is slated to drop Dec 11. It will be the rapper ternt sanga's first album since 2011's Revolver. Earlier this year, XXL spoke with the Grammy-award winning artist about his hiatus. "Everybody was interested in the same shit, which was the exact opposite of what I wanted people to be interested in me," he gave as a reason for slowing his roll. "I just didn’t feel it anymore. I wasn’t happy with what I was doing because I was being controlled with what I was doing, you know what I’m saying? I don’t want people to think that I was in the Illuminati or something, but it was just the label got suggestions on what they think is going to make them the most money, your management got suggestions on what they think is going to make the team the most money, which they get a percentage of, and that was shit that I just didn’t want to do. And I was like, I guess everybody has to wait until I feel like doing that shit again or until I run out of money and have to, but that ain’t happening. [Laughs] So I guess I just felt like doing it again.”

Earlier this year, he put out the mixtape Iron Way.
