T.I. is known for being able to articulate things in a royally eloquent manner. The Atlanta rapper recently used his powers to construct a powerful spoken work piece titled "United We Stand" which he recently performed for the taping of the Triumph Awards. Backed by the Youth Ensemble of Atlanta, a theater troupe of Georgia youth, Tip delivers a powerful message about getting involved with a movement instead of just talking about issues on social media. "If you think solely making them a trending topic is going to solve them, then you are a part of the problem," he says, before mentioning the names of those who have been killed by the hands of authorities. The performance will air tonight (Oct. 3) on TV One. You can check out T.I.'s portion, below.

After releasing his independent EP Da Nic, Tip is working on his forthcoming 10th solo album The Dime Trap. The Kang is currently a free agent after parting ways with his label home for the last two years Columbia Records. XXL recently chopped it up with Mr. Harris and got some insight into the upcoming project. "The Dime Trap is dedicated to my day one fans," said Tip. "I felt like, this being my 10th album, I have fans that discovered me first that feel like they were the most invested in my career and success and supported me the most throughout all my ups, downs, trials and tribulations. And those day one fans, that core demo, they expect me to be the voice for the underserved areas of society and they expect me to speak for people who can’t speak for themselves. And they expect me to do that by way of the music."

The Dime Trap is slated to drop later this year.
