It's been a minute since we heard a full-length project from Slim Thug but the Houston, Texas veteran is back with Hogg Life: The Beginning. The 14-track LP is produced entirely by G. Luck and B. Don and features Z-Ro, Proprain, Mug, Sosa Mann, Sauce Wins and Chayse. This is Thuggga's fifth studio album and his first since 2013's Boss Life.

Along with the new music, Slim Thug is also releasing a four-part documentary series chronicling the long-time MC's life. The documentary is directed by Break Dem Boyz Off Films, edited by DJ Young Samm, and produced by Slim Thug. It can be purchase on bosslifeworld.com or streamed on YouTube. The documentary follows Slim from his childhood on the Northside of Houston to inking a deal with Swisha House and finding mainstream success. The flick features commentary and interviews from Slim's mother, sister, childhood friends, DJ Michael "5000" Watts, OG Ron C, E.S.G. and more.

Later this month, Slim will be honored by Houston Mayor Annise Parker and Houston City Council Member Jerry Davis with his own day. Feb. 25 in Houston is now 'Slim Thug Day.' Despite finding huge success in the hip-hop world, Thug has been active in the community, holding turkey giveaways for Thanksgiving and toy drives for Christmas amongst other charitable actions.

Hogg Life: The Beginning is available for purchase on iTunes now.
