RZA to Play a Cop in New Fox Drama “Gang Related”

RZA's about to play a cop. And it's a great thing.

According to The Hollywood Reporter , the Wu-Tang abbot has joined the cast of the upcoming Fox pilot Gang Related.

The plot revolves around a gangster Ryan Lopez (played by Ramon Rodriguez), who is sent to infiltrate the San Francisco police department. RZA will play the main protagonist's cop partner and best friend on the task force, who became a police officer as a result of a former lover's death.

Written by Fast and Furious writer Chris Morgan, this The Departed-style police story will also star Jay Hernandez, Sung Kang, and Inbar Lavi.
