Manolo Rose has emerged into the scene as one of the newest MCs buzzing from the state of New York. After appearing on Troy Ave's "All About The Money" record, the high energy spitta out of Brooklyn followed up with a banger of his own with "Run Ricky Run." The aggressive track inspired by classic '90s movies such as Juice, Boyz N The Hood and Menace II Society showcased Manolo's songwriting ability. Looking to capitalize off his buzz, Manolo is gearing up to release his debut EP, Concrete Rose. He will also be dropping in the official remix to "Run Ricky Run" pretty soon. Name: Manolo Rose

Age: 27

Hometown: Brooklyn/Far Rockaway

I grew up listening to: Definitely Jay Z, AZ, The Notorious B.I.G., DMX, and Chuck D.

Most people don't know I: Love to read. My favorite book is actually From Superman to Man.

My style has been compared to: No one thus far. But I've heard people compare my style to ODB. I've heard DMX. But I would like to say more Chuck D-ish.

Standout records and/or moments to date: My standout record I would say is "Run Ricky Run" and my standout moment would be watching Meek Mill come out to "Run Ricky Run" during the NBA All-Weekend in New York. That was a great moment for me.

My goal in hip-hop is: To have fun and live life.

I want to be the next: I want to be the next mogul, the next billionaire.
